The book I’m most highly anticipating in March is… Witches of Ash and Ruin by E. Latimer. I’ve been dying to get my hands on this book since I first heard about it. I even interviewed E. Latimer in February – you can check that out here. This book just has EVERYTHING I love, and then some, and I can’t wait to read it!!!

Sooooo…… I kinda messed up and never posted my January Bookish Delight. I was sick for most of January, first with two migraines and then with some kind of allergy/sinus issue. So. Even though January is WAY over and we’re already over a week into February, I’m still gonna share both! Okay.. Ready? Ready!!

January Pick:
The book I was most highly anticipating in January was… Blood Countess by Lana Popović. I mean.. a YA retelling of Elizabeth Báthory… NEED I EVEN SAY MORE?!?!?!

The book I’m most highly anticipating in February is… Of Curses and Kisses by Sandhya Menon! I’ve loved all of Sandhya’s books so far, and I’m BEYOND EXCITED for Of Curses and Kisses because, I mean… fairy tale retellings!!!! Boarding school!!!! Need I say more?!?!?!

So… Where did September go???? Like, it was JUST summer and now it’s almost October and idk what happened… I 100% forgot about Bookish Delight because I had pre-written and scheduled, like, three Bookish Delights at one point and didn’t have to worry about them for SO long that I forgot I had to do September.. Eeek! Also, September has a LOT of amazing releases, so it was REALLY hard to pick just one this time. I mean, I could list FOUR books in this post. But I can’t because of my own stupid rules and having to pick just one.. Sigh. So..

The book I’m most highly anticipating in September is… Rules For Vanishing by Kate Alice Marshall!!! This book is supposed to be like The Blair Witch Project in book form and YOU GUYS!!!!!

American Royals by by Katharine McGee: I mean.. It’s a book about royalty. Of COURSE I want to read it!

The book I’m most highly anticipating in August is… Remember Me by Chelsea Bobulski!! This book was originally pitched as “Titanic meets The Shining” and DO I EVEN NEED TO SAY MORE OMG I NEED THIS BOOK IN MY LIFE ASAP!!!!!!!!

IDK if it makes sense to be highly anticipating book two of a series when I haven’t read book one, but like.. ANASTASIA IN SPACE!!!! Need I say more? Besides, I went to a signing with Ashley Poston roughly a week ago (depending on when this post goes live…), and it was absolutely epic. So, like, yeah.. Can’t help it – highly anticipating it! The book I’m most highly anticipating in May is… These Witches Don’t Burn by Isabel Sterling! I’ve actually already read this one, and it was ABSOLUTELY EPIC!!! I mean.. WITCHES AND SALEM AND OMG SO SO SO GOOD!! My review will be up soon, but guys, I HIGHLY recommend you check this one out!!

The book I’m most highly anticipating in April is… Wicked Saints by Emily A. Duncan! This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who knows me, since this book has been compared to the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, which I absolutely adore!!! I actually have an ARC of it that I received at work (I’m a bookseller), so I’m in the process of reading it as we speak. I’m about 150 pages in and HOLY WOW!!! It releases TODAY (!!!!!) and I HIGHLY recommend you pick up a copy!!!
